Although most HBA’s are set up with corporate memberships, the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) only offers membership on an individual basis. What this means is the designated representative (HBACA liaison) is the only person at your company who is an NAHB member. To compensate for this, NAHB offers Affiliate Memberships through local HBA’s providing employees of member companies access to the full array of NAHB benefits at a greatly reduced rate. This includes the popular GM $250-$1,000 private offer.

Both Builders and Associates may be Affiliate members. The national dues investment is $30 per year. Affiliate members receive similar benefits of NAHB membership as Builders and Associates. A person may ONLY become an NAHB Affiliate member through the HBACA; and your employer must be current on dues in order for you to apply. Benefits of NAHB Affiliate Membership include:

Networking – Connect with more than 140,000 members nationwide from all areas of the building industry.

Access to the NAHB website and their Team of Expert Advisors - Staff professionals are available to consult with members on anything from marketing plans to construction techniques and can even offer free legal assistance!

Exposure to the Latest Building Products & Services – Affiliate members can attend the International Builder’s Show ™ (IBS) at a low member price.
