Special Election for Phoenix Mayor on March 12

The City of Phoenix is holding a special election to select a new mayor on Tuesday, March 12. The election is a runoff election between former Councilmembers Daniel Valenzuela and Kate Gallego. The HBACA PAC has endorsed Daniel Valenzuela.  

Voters can request a ballot by mail no later than Friday, March 1, 2019 by contacting the City of Phoenix Elections at 602.261.8683. You can also vote in person on the 15th Floor of Phoenix City Hall between Tuesday, February 13, 2019 to Friday, March 8, 2019. Finally, voting centers around the city will be open on Saturday, March 9 from 10 am to 4 pm, on Monday, March 11 from 9 am to 6 pm and Tuesday, March 12 from 6 am to 7 pm.  A map of voting centers around the City is available here.

Phoenix will also be holding special elections for Council members in Districts Five and Eight.  The HBACA PAC has not endorsed any candidates in those races. A list of the candidates is available here.
