Home Builders Care

The association's 501(c)(3) charitable affiliate is known as Home Builders Care Arizona. The mission of Home Builders Care is to add to or renovate transitional housing shelters throughout the Phoenix metro area and to provide funding to other non-profits in need. Home Builders Care Arizona is committed to helping families, individuals, single mothers and their children, victims of domestic violence, and children in crisis to achieve stability and prosperity. A few of our past projects include Florence Crittenton Services of Arizona, the Child Crisis Center of the East Valley, Soujourner Center and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Phoenix. Current projects include a STEM overlay to the "Many Hands Make a Home" exhibit at the Arizona Science Center, workforce development, funding for Yarnell Hill Fire Disaster Relief Fund re-building efforts and Power Paws Assistance Dogs, Inc. an organization that provides highly skilled assistance dogs to people with disabilities, many of whom are children. . If you would like more information about Home Builders Care, please contact Connie Wilhelm at (602) 274-6545.

Latest Project

Home Builders Care hosted Builders Uncorked with proceeds going to Power Paws Assistance Dogs, Inc.  This amazing organization provides highly skilled assistance dogs to people with disabilities, many of whom are children.  They also work with veterans and first responders suffering from PTSD.  Another major undertaking is education, with Power Paws coordinating programs at local schools for at-risk-students with severe disabilities, and conducting summer workshops to teach kids training basics, and help them develop a greater awareness about people with disabilities. Home Builders Care is the 501(c)3 charitable arm of the HBACA dedicated to building better communities through community service projects which benefit women, men and children who are trying to rebuild their lives.  All monies raised through the organization go directly to charities, with administrative costs borne by the HBACA.
